چکیده
Cell migration is a finely tuned biological process that often involves epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). EMT typically characterized by the upregulation of mesenchymal markers such as Snail1. This has been shown to be critical importance normal developmental processes, including neural crest and invasion. Interestingly, similar mechanisms are utilized in disease tumor metastasis migration. Notably, EMT-like processes confer cells with ability migrate, invade, adopt stem cell-like properties largely account for immunosuppression recurrence. Therefore, identifying sensitive may contribute cancer prognosis diagnosis many facets. Previously, we showed Elp3 plays an essential role during stabilizing In current study, further elucidate molecular mechanism underlying colorectal We found mElp3 exerted identical function xElp3 modulating migration, both HAT SAM domains imperative this migratory process. overexpression SW480 promoted cell invasion, stabilized Snail1 requiring integrity domains. Our findings warrant exploration specific target cells.

Elongator Protein 3 (Elp3) stabilizes Snail1 and regulates neural crest migration in Xenopus
Elongator protein 3 (Elp3) is the enzymatic unit of the elongator protein complex, a histone acetyltransferase complex involved in transcriptional elongation. It has long been shown to play an important role in cell migration; however, the underlying mechanism is unknown. Here, we showed that Elp3 is expressed in pre-migratory and migrating neural crest cells in Xenopus embryos, and knockdown o...
متن کاملEffects of CD133 Silencing on Survival and Migration of HT-29 Colorectal Cancer Cells
Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is attributed as one of the most common malignancies worldwide. CD133 molecule, as a pentaspan transmembrane glycoprotein, confers stem cell-related characteristics, including self-renewal and multi-directional differentiation capability. CD133 plays important roles in the progression of CRC by conferring apoptotic resistance and migration ab...
متن کاملNeural crest migration: patterns, phases and signals.
The neural crest is a migratory, multipotent cell type that forms a vast array of vertebrate structures including the craniofacial skeleton and peripheral nervous system (Le Douarin and Kalcheim, 1999). Abnormalities in the ability of neural crest cells to reach precise target sites cause myriad birth defects. Unraveling the mechanisms that generate neural crest migratory patterns is essential ...
متن کاملthe effect of functional/notional approach on the proficiency level of efl learners and its evaluation through functional test
in fact, this study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any difference between the effect of functional/notional approach and the structural approaches to language teaching on the proficiency test of efl learners? 2. can a rather innovative language test referred to as "functional test" ge devised so so to measure the proficiency test of efl learners, and thus be as much reliable an...

Embryonic cell migration patterns are amazingly complex in the timing and spatial distribution of cells throughout the vertebrate landscape. However, advances in in vivo visualization, cell interrogation, and computational modeling are extracting critical features that underlie the mechanistic nature of these patterns. The focus of this review highlights recent advances in the study of the high...
